Hi, I am Rafa.
Product Designer
Blending UX strategy, AI-driven design processes and Agile workflows to create user-centered experiences
About me
👋 Hi, I’m a Brazilian Product Designer, who loves coffee and soccer.
🥷 With over 10 years of experience in branding, print, and digital products. Since 2019, I’ve been focused on UX, working with startups and software companies, leading end-to-end projects across industries like healthcare, finance, and the non-profit sector.
🎓 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts and two postgraduate specializations in Interaction Design and Agile Project Management. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Design at UFPE. I also run design workshops and co-creation sessions to promote innovation and collaboration within teams.

My design process
The process that i used to work consists of 3 cyclical phases:
🔍 Understand
Focus: Define users, needs, and product context.
• User Research: Interviews, surveys, behavior analysis.
• Metrics Analysis: Data review.
• Journey Mapping: Identify flows and friction points.
• Personas & Use Cases: Real profiles and scenarios.
Mainly deliverables from this phase:
Research reports with key insights
User journey maps and flows
Defined personas and user needs
🛠️
Execution
Focus: Turning ideas into visual and interactive solutions.
• Information architecture: navigation and content hierarchy
• Wireframes, flows, interface and interactions
• Prototyping: build and validation
• Developer handoff: assets, specs, and technical alignment
Mainly deliverables from this phase:
Figma files: UI specifications
User test planned, executed and analyzed
Defined personas and user needs
📦
Delivery
Focus: Implementation, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Implementation follow-up: ensuring design fidelity during development
• UI/UX QA & review: testing for final adjustments
• Metrics analysis: evaluating the impact of changes on user behavior.
• Refinements based on real feedback
Mainly deliverables from this phase:
Design components and final screens
Decision Log (Design Rationale)
Metrics and Insights (UX Outcomes)
Note: I’m exploring and applying Artificial Intelligence to enhance my design process, aiming for more efficient results and a smarter, optimized workflow.
